Residential Customer Service Adviser (G2/CSA)


Salary: Grade 2: 15,054- 16,252 per annum
Various Shifts - Permanent

Manchester Metropolitan University are currently recruiting a Residential Customer Service Advisor
to provide provide a professional and efficient administrative service to support the work of the
Residential Facilities Team.

The duties of the job include:

To act as the first point of contact within the hall, to receive residents in a welcoming and helpful
manner.
To provide first-level advice/ guidance and information that relates to Residential Services and its
various functions.
To receive, record and pass on messages to relevant staff, providing a clear handover between shifts.
To make appointments for enquirers and others with relevant members of the Residential Services
Team.
To receive and record the delivery of post and parcels in reception, informing relevant individuals to
enable collection or onward delivery.
To provide general administrative support as required such as word processing, letters from
templates, setting up and maintaining record books, filing, photocopying and inputting data on to the
computer systems.
To prepare and input data into relevant record systems, taking ownership and accountability for work
completed, to ensure that it is dealt with efficiently and satisfactory.


We would like to hear from you if you have/are:

Experience within a similar role.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience of dealing with difficult situations, as well as telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a
professional manner.
Experience of General cleaning.
Experience of security procedures and fire alarm evacuations.
The ability to carry out duties as outlined in the Job Description which include bending, walking,
pushing, lifting, climbing stairs, and handling equipment
The ability to work in accordance with Data Protection and maintain confidentiality.
