Skills and Works Solutions are recruiting a SkillCentre Resourcer to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, in order to maintain full occupancy of courses at the Greater Manchester SkillCentre. To be based in Trafford Park
The duties of the job include:
To assist learners to find job vacancies for a variety of industrial sector apprenticeship frameworks. To work as part of a team to ensure the end to end process of SkillCentre learner recruitment is seamless and professional. To organise and monitor the daily flow of applications/CVs and to screen and sift accordingly. To work with marketing to arrange appropriate adverts for vacancies generated and for general learner attraction campaigns. To develop and manage relationships with JobCentre plus, local Connexions Services and local Schools/Education sector to promote Skill Centre Courses. To arrange candidate assessment days and conduct interviews and assessment on a weekly basis. To provide support to applicants for CV preparation and job interviews including conducting mock interviews and creating suitable journey planners. To process all administration required to confirm interviews or placements to programme. To develop and manager relationships with the sector team in order to promote Skill Centre Learners to them and generate placement and job opportunities for them. To be part of the team that develops and runs Open Days and Evenings.
We would like to hear from you if you have/are:
Experience within a similar role. Excellent organisational skills, preferably with proven end to end recruitment experience. The ability to communicate with partners at all levels and young people and adults to influence and build relationships. Knowledge of the education environment, nationally and in the Greater Manchester area. Awareness of the processes involved in schools - work transition of young people. Sound knowledge of work based route including Apprenticeship frameworks, NVQs and their processes.
