We now combine electrical components into
circuits, decide on the input and output, and
find the transfer function. Our guiding
principles are Kirchhoffs laws.

System Transfer Functions
Mechanical systems, like electrical networks,
have three passive, linear components. Two
of them, the spring and the mass, are energy-
storage elements; one of them the viscous
damper, dissipates energy.
