1. What do you understand by the Casting Session? Explain with


examples.
Ans When the story board is finished and the script typed,it is time for a
casting session. During the casting session, the assistant should keepnotes
regarding the various comments made about the contenders,as well as the
proper spelling of each name,address,telephone number and social security
number of the people who are selected for the picture. It is the work of
assistant to make sure the the timings for actors available on a series,whether
the actor has any conflicts etc.

8. Explain the following topics with examples:


• Director’s Rough Sketches
Director use drawing skills to enable him to visualize the action and
stimulate his creativity.as he have the track measurement, he start making
rough sketches of his conception of the action.

• Dialogue Track Analysis


While director has been compiling the bar sheets,the editor has been
analyzing the dialogue track. In dialogue track analysis, each word is being
broken down to its combination of vowels and consonants.
• Casting Session

Ans) the storyboard is the first visual version of the project. It is the series of
small panels showing all major scenes of action in the animation.
Through the use of storyboard,lead animators could just create the sample
drawings of the scenes as they imagined them and write in the dialogue just
below the story panes.

11. What are the basic camera angles? Explain with the help of
drawing.
Ans) there are four types of basic camera angles…:
Long shot
Mid shot
Closeup shot
Extreme closeup shot
