Traditionally vedic aspects have been computed based on the signs in which planets are located. There is no consideration for the degree occupied by
the planet in a particular sign.
Even if a planet occupies the last degree in a sign, it is still considered similar to a planet occupying the the middle of the sign or even the initial degree of
the sign.
Conjunctions have also been defined this way - sign based.
In his 4 step theory Shri.Sunil Gondhalekarji has demonstrated that vedic aspects can be better judged if the aspects and conjunctions are considered
after taking into account the orb of conjunction.
Hence to facilitate this thinking and to help you (if you want to follow this method), we have given two tables for vedic aspects. One according to the
traditional school of thought and the other taking the orb as defined for the 4 step theory.
