II year students were conducted for the overall development of

Date 18th August,2011.
Conducted by Mr. Akash Kamat & Mr.Vijay Sonje
Coordinated by - Prof.Aniruddha Thuse

A guest session was conducted on Resume Writing & Group
Discussion by Mr. Akash Kamat & Mr.Vijay Sonje from Simplifier.
Points like how to write the resume and essentials of group
dissuasions activities were covered during the session.

After the session various queries were asked by the students and
they were satisfactorily answered by the speakers.
2) Event / Activity Guest session on Stock Market Basics

Conducted by Mr.Rajiv Kuwad.

A gust session was conduscted by Mr.Rajiv Kuwad, Assistant
Manager, Corporate sales of Precision Technical analysis
Pvt.Ltd.on 29th August, 2011. He covered the crucial points like
types of markets, types of analysis and basic requirements you
should know before investing in the share market during his
session.

1) Event / Activity Case Study Competition

Considering the importance of case study methodology of
learning, presentation & communication skills for MBA students, I
have conducted case study presentations of first year students
on various topics form Human resource, organizational behavior
and general management.

Total 8 groups, each consisting approx. 5 students presented
their cases along with the solutions. They also made the
PowerPoint presentations. All the cases with solutions were
distributed to all the students.

2) Event / Activity Intra summer project competition

With the objective of building up presentation skills among the
students, the intra summer project competition was held at
institute. The activity was restricted to AIM students only.
3) Event / Activity Street play competition.

The event of street play competition was conducted to judge the
presentation and the communication skills of the students. The
purpose of the activity was to build the confidence and improve
the soft skills of the students.

1) Event / Activity Session on LPG model of India

A session on LPG Model of India was conducted on 19th Aug.
2012. Prof.Aniruddha Thuse delivered a lecture explaining basic
concept of LPG (Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization).
The occasion was completion of 20 years of LPG model in India
(24th July 1991 to 24th July 2011).

In the lecture, the following points were explained in depth,
1. Concept of LPG
2. Main reason of opening up of Indian Economy in 1991
3. Pre liberalization economy in India
4. Economic Reforms in 1991
5. Impact of LPG model on Indian Economy in last 20 years.
2) Event / Activity Career Guidance workshop

A career guidance workshop was conducted for MBA students
form AIM as well as outside students to clarify their doubts as to
which career path to select and how to achieve their goals
3) Event / Activity Summer project work Preparation.

A guest session on the topic Summer Projects & Placement
Opportunities conducted in institute on Sat.31st Mar.2012. The
objective of this session was to explain weightage, scope &
importance of the Summer Internship Program to the forthcoming
batch of MBA students. Ms.Archana Pradhan (HR Consultant)
was the key speaker.

The session was interactive. The students asked several
questions related to their doubts, queries etc. about the SIP.

Dr.Vijay Kulkarni (Director AIM) felicitated Ms.Archana Pradhan.
Ms.Anuja Kadam (MBA I), proposed the vote of thanks.
Prof.Aniruddha Thuse was the faculty coordinator of the session.

1) Event / Activity Study Tour.

Date 10th January, 2012 to 12th January, 2012
Aditya Institute of Management has organized a study tour for 3
days from 10th January, 2012 to 12th January, 2012 to the
Educational Institutes such as IIM-A, The Institute of Rural
Management- Anand (IRMA) and also Industrial visits to places
such as AMUL, NDDB- National Dairy Development Board.

Along with the study tour and Industrial Visits students were also
shown the beautiful places in Ahmedabad such as Kankaria
Lake, Sabarmati Asharam, Akshardham Temple.

2) Event / Activity Visit to Small Industries.

Manufacturing and Operations Management is one of the curial
and comparatively difficult subject from MBA I year curriculum.
This subject along with the strong theoretical base it requires the
practical knowledge as well. To make students aware about the
industrial setting and to acquaint them with a ctual manufacturing
and operations process, a visit to small industries in the vicinity of
the institute was organized by the visiting faculty Prof. Manoj
Gadre.
Soham Engineering works, Shaha engineering work, Fade
Industries, Neeraj Engineering Company and Critical Care
systems are the small industries form Narhe, which were visited.

1) Event / Activity Book Review

To inculcate this habit of reading in students I have conducted
the activity of Book Review. Wherein, students were supposed
to read the book (autobiographies / any other motivational book)
of their own choice. And then share the contents of the book
along with their own views about it, with their class mates. It was
a group activity.

This activity has helped not only to inculcate reading habit in
students, but also to make them more knowledgeable and
confident.
2) Event / Activity Class Presentation

This kind pf activity will help to improve the communication skills
of the individual, thereby making him good communicator, and
providing better chances of success.

It was a group activity. Total 7 groups made presentations on
various contemporary issues in human resource management.

skills for MBA students, I have conducted presentations of first
year and second year MBA students on various topics to make
them confident about their communication and public speaking.

Case studies are accepted as one of the crucial method of
management education. It gives the student an idea about the
real life situations in the corporate world and an opportunity to
translate their theoretical knowledge into practical policies and
procedures.

A Session was conducted for MBA I year students about how to
analyze the case study and write the solution for the same.

A systematic method (steps) were introduced and discussed and
sample case study was providing to the class for resolving.
5) Event / Activity Stories & Analogies

This activity deals with the stories of blind man and their
perception towards what they have touched, felt based on which
they have expressed and figured out what is it. The reality was
different than what they have experienced.
6) Event / Activity Case Study

Title of the case Labor unrest and social insecurity

The case study titled Labor unrest and social insecurity was
conducted in the classroom for MBA II year students.

The case study deals with the problem of social security of the
plantation labors in the context of crisis in tea industry. In order to
understand the situation of the legal provisions related with the
labors and to facilitate the process of education as a social
security measure.

1) Event / Activity - Freshers Party ( Photos available)

The party was held at Wonder Funky, a very happening party
venue in Pune. Students had a lot of cultural activities, disco and
above all the delicious food. The cultural activities include
selection of MR. and Ms.Freshers, jokes, shayari, singing etc.
2) Event / Activity Cultural events.

Several games and activities were organized in the cultural
events. Days such as chocolate days, mismatch day, red and
black day, retro day, traditional day were celebrated.

The activity was basically conducted to make the students feel
relaxed and enjoy and participate in co curricular activities.

3) Event / Activity Farewell Party.

For the purpose of delivering send off to MBA II year batch of
2012, farewell party was arranged on 7th April,2012 at Squeeze
Hall, Market yard ,Pune.
Students had a lot of fun and dance. The party ended with the
delicious food.

4) Event / Activity Lata Mangeshkar Forever

Date 6th February,2012.
Conducted & Coordinated by - Prof.Aniruddha Thuse

The above mentioned event was organized at institute on
Mon.6th Feb.2012. A concept developed by Prof.Aniruddha
Thuse in which a main objective was to show the 60 decade
journey of a legendary singer & nightingale of the country,
Bharataratna Lata Mangeshkar.

The program was based on original records (Marathi & Hindi) of
Lata Mangeshkar. In the program, the stress was given on the
grand success of Lata Mangeshkar, her god gifted voice, her
dedication towards the music & her entrepreneurship skills also.
The program consisted of near about 20 songs inclusive of the
careers first song (1942) along with songs from Hindi & Marathi
films.

Muktangan is a well known de-addiction and rehabilitation centre
in Pune. More than 18000 patients from all over India are treated
by them. Mr. Prasad sir delivered the lecture for students, who
himself was a patient of Muktangan. He shared his experiences
(how he get back from his addiction) with students and tried to
distract the students from addiction. He also shared the history,
objectives and work culture of Muktangan.
