* Nominal Inside Diameter is considered as 2" less than bolt-circle diameter and actual capacity figured on that basis.
** NOTE : A narrow fill-in stave may be used in conjuction with regular 60" wide staves .
*** It should be noted that the first ring of staves of the 1500 Bls tank , which is 21- 6 1/2" inside diameter by 24- 1 1/2" high , will consist
of twelve-gauge material conforming to the usual 60" width and on account of the twp rows of bolts required for the vertical seams of this
particular ring , the net width of each of those staves will be 2" less than the standard , so the staves will not match up all the way round the
tank , and a fill-in stave will be required .
