Atterberg Limits: Assessment of Soil Stabilization Using Fly Ash and Rice Husk Ash

This document reports on an assessment of soil stabilization using fly ash and rice husk ash additives. It includes the results of tests on soil-additive mixtures to determine plastic limit, liquid limit, and shrinkage limit. The plastic limit, liquid limit, and shrinkage limit were measured for soil mixed with 5%, 10%, and 15% additions of fly ash and rice husk ash. The results showed that both fly ash and rice husk ash can increase the plastic limit and shrinkage limit while decreasing the liquid limit of soils compared to untreated soil, indicating their effectiveness for soil stabilization.
