Contingency / back up plans
If there are any problems during the planned production schedule, there should
always be a backup. Here are the possible scenarios:

Scenario Solution
Filming cannot be done on the day Have an agreed back-up filming date 1-
3 days after
One of the actors cannot take part on the
day
Have an agreed back-up filming date 1-
3 days after
I cannot use the equipment I should be notified beforehand and
bring in my own equipment i.e. camera,
phone camera, and tripod
My computer does not work and the
footage needs editing
Edit the footage at college

Detail how you solved problems
Problem Solved
The Equipment Provider forgot to bring in
the camera for filming in the studio
Used my phones camera (HTC One X)
The Equipment Providers camera wasnt
charged
Filmed several days later
One of the actors (Young Boys Mum)
couldnt make the time of filming
Filmed several days later

Modifications (Why did you modify your work and what was changed during post-
production)
Modified How Why
Changing the length of the
clips
By matching the length with
4 beats in the song, as well as
shortening the clips in
general.
So it is edited like a music
video, and the duration is
around 40 seconds.
Colour Correction Adding FX in the editing
software.
Makes the production look
more professional, and
makes the colours more
vibrant.
Green screen backgrounds Using the Chroma Keyer FX To replace the background
with my original intentions,
and avoid frame-by-frame
masking.
Sound Adding music/sound effects,
changing the volume of
sound
Makes the production look
more professional, and to
replace the sounds with my
original intentions such as
music by Daft Punk at a
certain time.
