Denver Police Department

The Denver Police Department released a press release announcing that Fred Montenegro is wanted for felony offenses committed in Denver, including aggravated robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft, and criminal attempt of first degree assault. CAUTION – ARMED AND DANGEROUS / GANG MEMBER


On May 9th, 2008, Montenegro robbed his victim at knifepoint in 500 block of North. Alton Way. The
suspect then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle. This suspect is a Denver Gang member and is known to
carry numerous weapons. A detailed investigation of the case named Montenegro as a suspect and an
arrest warrant was issued on May 15th, 2008.
