Job Description - Technical Assistant

reports to the Drilling Engineer Project. Ensures that the drilling reporting is maintained to Company standards. Works with the Drilling Manager,
Drilling Superintendent and the Drilling Engineer.
1. Assist Drilling Superintendent to provide written specifications to the Material Dept for procurement of well equipment when required.
2. Assist Drilling Superintendent to send Services Orders and issue instructions to service companies.
3. Records drilling and completion time breakdowns for each section of the wells.
4. Records mud data for each section of the wells.
5. Records cement data for each section of the wells.
6. Records bit data for each section of the wells.
7. Update daily drilling and completion costs and prepares cost summaries by hole section.
8. Assist the operations Engineer to compile the "Final Well Drilling Report"
