AlarmCAD No-Key Licensing

With the new no-key licensing you do not


need to plug in a USB key to operate
AlarmCAD.
Open the software licensing form and
simply enter the activation code you
received along with the name of the
licensee. Click on the Accept button and
the license will activate over the internet.
You must have an internet connection to
Activate and Deactivate a license.
You can use the Deactivate and Activate
feature to move the license to another
machine at work or home. Once a license
has been deactivated on a machine it
must be reactivated to resume the full
features of an active license.
Once the license is active you can check the expiration date of the license and what features are included by
clicking on the padlock symbol to the right of the licensee and activation code.

AlarmCAD No-Key Licensing








AlarmCAD for AutoCAD


The no-key licensing system allows you to load AlarmCAD on several machines and also use either
Standalone or AlarmCAD for AutoCAD software with the same software license key. Simply move the
license to the machine needing AlarmCAD and activate the license. (The license must be available by
deactivating first. The machine must be connected to the internet to successfully activate and deactivate
an AlarmCAD license.)
In the Standalone version of AlarmCAD the
product name is displayed in the upper left
hand corner of software title block.
In the AlarmCAD for AutoCAD version the
license is found under:
AlarmCAD > File > Licensing
