2. DESCRIPTION OF SPECIFIC STRATEGY (3 points)
This strategy is used to help students remember facts. The phrase is formed with the first
letter of each word from the chapter.



3. EXPLANATION OF APPLICABILITY OF SPECIFIC STRATEGY TO CHAPTER CONTENT
(5 points)
I chose this strategy because this is an easy way to help students remember the groups of
living things that are found in an ecosystem. Each word in the phrase also can help
students remember the definition of each term, not just their name.


4. TANGIBLE EXAMPLE OF THE SPECIFIC STRATEGY WITH CONTENT INFORMATION

5. REFLECTION (5 points)
This strategy is a great tool to use for remembering facts from any content area. As long
as the phrase make senses and is relevant to the child, they will be able to use this to
remember facts. Once taught correctly students will be able to come up with their own
mnemonic devices to help them remember content. It is simple and very effective!
