Writing a Restaurant Review

A restaurant review is an excellent way for people to explore new dining options and to determine whether or not a specific restaurant is in their interest. It creates a unique experience when you are exposed to a new cuisine and culture. If done properly, the review will contain all the information one would need to know before dining at the restaurant. Preparing to write a restaurant review: A restaurant review should be no more than 1,000 words. The point is to inform the reader but leave enough unsaid that the dining experience will still be refreshing and provide your unbiased opinion of the overall observation. Before dining at the restaurant, there are a few things that should be done. 1. Look into the restaurants background a little bit. a. Is it a chain? b. Who are the owner and chef? Background and history of the restaurant/ owner. c. What kind of a neighborhood is it in? d. What type of restaurant is it? e.g. Mexican, Peruvian, etc. Also, because you are going to need to provide feedback on several dishes, bring friends and/or family and get their opinion on the dishes and service they received.
