Instructions for running the Panasonic Script and Installing SDD and T4 on a New Windows 7 Machine 1. Download and extract the Panasonic Configuration Script on to the target desk top (NewPanasonicLaptop_SDDConfig_V11.zip) 2. On the target machine, Run CreatePowerScheme file from within the extracted folder 3. Turn Off UAC User Account Control by selecting Yes from the presented window 4. Select ok to reboot the Panasonic Unit 5. Upon reboot please select Run from the Open file window Note: A window will appear on re-boot please do not close this as the Panasonic Script is Installing the required components (this will take a few minutes). The P.C will re-boot after completing the installation 6. Run the current FULL IDS_DVD***_FULL.exe Installation file 7. Reboot the Panasonic Toughbook 8. Run the current VDF_DVD***_V*.exe Installation file 9. Reboot the Panasonic Toughbook 10. Download all available Software Updates and run in numerical order. 11. Download and run the current SPA Pinpoint tests 12. Reboot the Panasonic Toughbook (After reboot please allow any firewall pop-ups full access) 13. Insert RDS 7 Auto Run RunProgs.bat 14. Accept Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 15. Set CD Drive letter Z And Manually reboot the Machine Do not proceed with installing T4 at this point 16. Install RDS 7.00 from the presented SDD menu 17. The machine will reboot (please eject the T4 disk from the drive) you may get an error message on start this can be ignored. 18. Please navigate to your desktop and On the target machine, Run CreatePowerScheme file from within the extracted folder (Note T4 may also launch please exit the application) 19. Select ok to reboot the Panasonic Unit (After reboot please allow any firewall popups full access) If any Microsoft windows appear requesting the user to either open or cancel the security file please un tick all boxes requesting "Always ask before Opening this file" and proceed to open the file.

De machine wordt opnieuw gestart (haal de T4-disk uit het station); bij het opstarten kan een foutmelding worden weergegeven: deze kunt u negeren. 18. Ga op het Bureaublad van de doelmachine naar de gextraheerde map en voer het bestand CreatePowerScheme uit (als onverhoeds ook T4 wordt gestart, moet u deze toepassing verlaten) 19. Kies OK om de Panasonic-machine opnieuw te starten (na het herstarten moet u in eventuele pop-upvensters van de firewall volledige toegang toestaan)

Instructies voor het uitvoeren van het Panasonic-script

Dit script moet worden gebruikt om de volgende Panasonic Toughbooks te configureren: o Nieuw geleverd zonder SDD-hoofdmenu bij het opstarten. o Het besturingssysteem is hersteld met de Panasonic Recovery Disk of door middel van partitieherstel via de Bios.

Instructions relatives l'excution du script Panasonic et l'installation du SDD et du disque T4 sur un nouvel ordinateur 1. Tlcharger et extraire le script de configuration Panasonic sur le bureau de l'ordinateur cible (NewPanasonicLaptop_SDDConfig_V11.zip) 2. Sur l'ordinateur cible, excuter le fichier CreatePowerScheme partir du dossier dans lequel il a t extrait 3. Dsactiver l'UAC (User Account Control, ou Commande du compte utilisateur) en slectionnant Yes (Oui) dans la fentre qui s'affiche 4. Cliquer sur ok pour rinitialiser l'unit Panasonic 5. Aprs la rinitialisation, slectionner l'option Run (Excuter) dans la fentre du fichier ouvert Remarque : une fentre s'affiche pendant la rinitialisation. Merci de ne pas la fermer car le script Panasonic installe les composants ncessaires (cette opration peut prendre quelques minutes). Une fois l'installation termine, l'ordinateur effectue une rinitialisation 6. Excuter le fichier d'installation FULL IDS_DVD***_FULL.exe actuel 7. Rinitialiser l'unit Panasonic Toughbook 8. Excuter le fichier d'installation VDF_DVD***_V*.exe actuel 9. Rinitialiser l'unit Panasonic Toughbook 10. Tlcharger toutes les mises jour du logiciel qui sont disponibles et les excuter dans l'ordre, en fonction de leur numro. 11. Tlcharger et excuter les tests localiss SPA actuels 12. Redmarrer l'ordinateur Panasonic Toughbook (aprs le redmarrage, lorsque le pare-feu affiche des fentres contextuelles, autoriser un accs complet) 13. Insrer le RDS 7 Lancer le programme d'excution automatique RUNPROGS.bat 14. Accepter Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 15. Affecter au lecteur de CD la lettre Z Rinitialiser ensuite manuellement l'ordinateur A ce stade, ne pas encore installer le disque T4 16. Installer le systme RDS 7.00 partir du menu SDD qui s'affiche 17. L'ordinateur redmarre (jecter le disque T4 du lecteur). Il se peut qu'un message d'erreur s'affiche au dmarrage ; il peut tre ignor. 18. Accder au bureau ; sur l'ordinateur cible, excuter le fichier CreatePowerScheme partir du dossier dans lequel il a t extrait (remarque : le disque T4 peut galement se lancer ; quitter alors l'application) 19. Cliquer sur ok pour rinitialiser l'unit Panasonic (aprs le redmarrage, lorsque le pare-feu affiche des fentres contextuelles, autoriser un accs complet)

Anweisungen zum Ausfhren des Panasonic-Skripts und zur Installation von SDD und T4 auf einem neuen Computer 1. Laden Sie das Panasonic Configuration Script auf den Zieldesktop herunter und entpacken Sie es (NewPanasonicLaptop_SDDConfig_V11.zip) 2. Sul computer di destinazione, aprire il file CreatePowerScheme (Crea schema di alimentazione) nella cartella estratta 3. Disattivare l'opzione UAC User Account Control (CAU - Controllo account utente) selezionando Yes (S) nella finestra visualizzata 4. Selezionare ok per riavviare l'unit Panasonic 5. Al momento del riavvio, selezionare Run (Esegui) nella finestra Open file (Apri file) Nota: al momento del riavvio viene visualizzata una finestra, non chiuderla. Il computer si riavvia (espellere il disco T4 dall'unit); potrebbe essere visualizzato un messaggio di errore al momento dell'avvio; ignorarlo. 18. Esplorare il desktop e , sul computer di destinazione, eseguire il file CreatePowerScheme (Crea schema di alimentazione) nella cartella estratta (Notare che pu avviarsi anche T4, uscire dall'applicazione) 19. Selezionare ok per riavviare l'unit Panasonic (dopo il riavvio consentire l'accesso completo a qualsiasi schermata a comparsa del firewall) Se viene visualizzata una finestra di Microsoft in cui si richiede all'utente di aprire o di annullare l'apertura del file di protezione, spuntare tutte le caselle con il messaggio "Avvisa sempre prima di aprire questo file", quindi aprire il file.

Instrucciones para ejecutar el script de Panasonic e instalar el SDD y el T4 en una nueva mquina 1. Descargue y extraiga el script de configuracin de Panasonic en el escritorio de destino (NewPanasonicLaptop_SDDConfig_V11.zip) 2. En la mquina de destino, ejecute el archivo CreatePowerScheme desde la carpeta que ha extrado 3. Desactive la funcin UAC User Account Control (Control de cuentas de usuario); para ello, seleccione Yes (S) en la ventana correspondiente 4. Seleccione ok para reiniciar la unidad Panasonic 5. Tras reiniciar, seleccione Run (Ejecutar) desde la ventana Abrir archivo Nota: al reiniciar, aparecer una ventana; no la cierre mientras el script de Panasonic instala los componentes necesarios (tardar unos minutos). El PC se reiniciar tras finalizar la instalacin 6. Ejecute el archivo FULL IDS_DVD***_FULL.exe Installation actual 7. Reinicie el porttil Panasonic Toughbook 8. Ejecute el archivo de instalacin VDF_DVD***_V*.exe actual 9. Reinicie el porttil Panasonic Toughbook 10. Acceda al escritorio y, en la mquina de destino, ejecute el archivo CreatePowerScheme desde la carpeta que ha extrado (si la aplicacin T4 se inicia tambin, cirrela) 19. Seleccione ok para reiniciar la unidad de Panasonic (tras reiniciarse, d acceso completo a las ventanas emergentes del firewall) Si aparece alguna ventana de Microsoft en la que se solicita al usuario abrir el archivo de seguridad o cancelar dicha apertura, desmarque todas las casillas que indiquen "Preguntar siempre antes de abrir este archivo" y abra el archivo.
