Geo Technics 1

The document contains several problems related to soil properties and classification: 1) Given properties of a soil, it asks to calculate dry unit weight, void ratio, porosity, and degree of saturation. 2) Given maximum/minimum void ratios and other properties, it asks to calculate dry unit weight at a given relative density. 3) Given volumes and masses of wet and dry soil, it asks to calculate shrinkage limit. 4) Given depth, relative density, and void ratio properties, it asks to calculate dry density and thickness decrease. It also contains problems related to soil classification using USDA, USCS, and AASHTO systems.
