Gifted and Talented Program Gifted and Talented Education uses the program Envision for identified students with unique academic and social needs which are not met in a typical classroom setting. Students have the opportunity to develop their potential through curriculum designed to meet their needs. Experiences enhance and extend concepts in the regular classroom and allow students make more progress than traditional learning.
Special Education Program Special services are based on the "inclusion" model which encourages the placement of students who receive Special Services into regular education classrooms when deemed appropriate by the Admission / Review / Dismissal (ARD) committee. Spring ISD provides a continuum of Special Services for students and that is determined on an individual basis through the ARD process.

Bilingual (Spanish) PK-5 English as a Second Language Program The goal of this 6 year program (PK-5) is to promote high levels of academic achievement and full academic language proficiency in the students first language and English. All Spring I.S.D. elementary campuses have a PK-5 Bilingual Program. Pre-School Program for Children with Disabilities Spring ISD offers a free half-day Pre-K program designed to give children with speech or developmental delays, or who are deemed at-risk students, quality instruction to ensure they will be successful in kindergarten.

Meyer has embraced a framework of character education centered on basic values called the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
FREEDOM CHOIR
Choir is shown to have positive beneficial contributions to a childs educational and social success. It teaches individual strength amongst teamwork. Students feel good, gain confidence, practice sustained commitment, which improves self-esteem by reaching goals through achievement.
SAFETY PATROL
The purpose for safety patrol is to develop students as leaders within the school who assist others in maintaining the safety by following school rules and procedures. The patrol assist in procedures during car rider AM drop off. Students develop leadership and character skills when working with other children and adults.
The student council encourages students to share ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and school principals. They often raise funds for school-wide activities. For Example, they have completed food drives, fundraisers and parties. Many members learn skills that are an extension of their academic life.
