This study evaluated the performance of 26 executives at Rane Brake Linings Ltd in Puducherry, India. It examined the relationship between promotion, experience, and performance using a questionnaire. Correlation analysis found a relationship between both promotion and experience with performance. A t-test found no significant difference in performance between executives who received promotions and those who did not. The study concluded that promotion strategies are directly related to performance, experience improves efficiency, and promotions motivate better performance. Recommendations included using 360-degree appraisals and gathering employee feedback.

INFERENCES

CORRELATION-There is relationship between promotion and executives performance. CORRELATION-There is relationship between experience and their performance. t-TEST Hypothesis is rejected. So there is no significant difference in the performance of the executives who had promotion and who never had promotion.

LIMITATIONS

FEAR OF LEAKAGE OF INFORMATION

FINDINGS
The

promotion strategy adopted in the company had a direct relation with its executives performance. The work experience improves executives efficiency and performance. The promotion given to the executives, motivate them to perform better.

FINDINGS

performance appraisal conducted in the company is effective. The executives in the company ranges in their performance level. Experience, performance and promotion of the executives go hand in hand.

INCLUDE 360 DEGREE APPRAISAL EMPLOYEE FEED BACK ABOUT PROMOTION CAN BE EXTRACTED MOTIVATIONAL ASPECT OF PROMOTION CAN BE FURTHER RECOGNIZED.
