Note for feature article Equality Everyone Deserves It: This article shows how equality is an issue for our society. Many people are ashamed of who they are because society cannot accept them for who they are and who they want to be. I tried to show the statistics and facts of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender teens and young adults who are not accepted. We do not want to be the reason somebody ends or tries to end their life. Note for expository choice: In my expository choice I chose a graph to show the statistics of children who are not accepted by society. Teenagers and young adults who are not accepted have much higher rates of suicide, depression, illegal drugs, and HIV or STDs. Notes for Word Cloud: All of the words in the word cloud are the important ones from quotes in the book The Meaning of Matthew written by Judy Shepard.
