Measurement Report Expirement No. 1: Errors in Measurements

The document is a measurement report for an experiment measuring resistors. The objective was to measure a group of 1 kohm resistors and calculate the error. The experiment involved connecting a circuit with power source, resistors, and voltmeter. Voltage readings were recorded for each 1 kohm resistor. Calculations were performed to determine the average resistance, range, percentage of error, and other values. The results showed a percentage of error of 2.7% between the resistors. The conclusion is that any purchased resistor will have some error within an acceptable range.

Errors in measurements

Name: NO. : 496 Section: 14

Objective:
Measuring a group of resistors 1 Kohm And Calculating error

Components:
Power source 4 resistors 1 kohm Resistor 2 kohm Voltmeter

Procedures:
1) Connect The circuit as shown

2) Every time change the 1 kohm resistor with another one and write down the voltmeter reading

Calculations:

there is an error in any resistor you buy but it have range that should never be lower or higher than it.
