Project Description
Traffic lights are an essential part of our everyday life. They serve as guidelines for vehicles and pedestrians alike. The green light signals Go, Yellow light serves as warning and the Red light signals Halt. The traffic light evolved through time as additional pieces of equipment are installed such as the countdown timer.

Materials:
PIC16F877 Resistors LEDs (Red, Yellow, Green) BCD to 7 segment decoder 7 segment display

As timer reaches 0, the light changes colour. The time interval from Green light to the Yellow light is 50 seconds The time interval from Yellow light to Red light is 5 seconds. Adjacent signal lights for pedestrians were also made.
