The oil change indicator notifies the driver when it is time to change the engine oil. It comes on initially at 600 miles and then at preset intervals between 300 to 3600 miles, adjustable in 300 mile increments. To reset the indicator, turn off the ignition and press and hold the select and reset buttons for 2 seconds while turning the ignition back on. This will reset the oil change counter and make the indicator icon disappear. Resetting should be done after each oil change.

Oil Change Indicator / Interval The Oil Change indicator comes on periodically to remind you to change the engine oil. The indicator comes on at the initial 600 miles mark and preset intervals thereafter. The preset interval is adjustable between 300 miles and 3600 miles in 300 miles increments. How to set/change the oil change interval 1. 2. 3. 4. Push Push Push Push the SELECT and RESET buttons on the dash for 2 seconds until the INTERVAL indicator comes on. the SELECT button to decrease the interval in 300 miles steps. the RESET button to increase the interval in 300 miles steps. and hold the SELECT and RESET buttons for 2 seconds to save the new settings.

Note: The preset interval can only be changed after the initial 600 miles reminder comes on. Note: Changing the Oil Change interval does not reset the oil change interval counter or the icon, you will have to reset the Oil Change indicator for that as described below. How to reset the oil change indicator 1. Turn off the ignition switch 2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position while holding both the SELECT and RESET buttons for 2 seconds. 3. The Oil Change counter will be reset and the Oil Change indicator Icon will blink and disappear. TIP: Reset the indicator after each oil change to start from zero once more.
