Click on the chart category to open the drop down list of available graph types (placing the mouse pointer over a graph type will bring the description of the graph). Preferably use Line with Markers. 3. Click on a graph to select it.

4. Now you are ready to format your line graph: * When you click on a graph, three tabs- the Design, Layout, and Format tabs are added to the ribbon under the title on Chart Tools.

Adding a Title: A. Click on the Layout tab. B. Click on Chart Title under the Labels section. C. Select the third option- Above Chart. D. Type in the title: Average Precipitation (mm)

5. Now you should have your line graph:
