First Draft of Synopsis

It is the present day. Rachel walks downstairs slightly hungover fro the night !efore and puts the news on whilst aking !reakfast for her and her sister. On the news, there is a report a!out a nu !er of strange sightings of people acting strangely and standing co pletely still for no apparent reason. On the news report the reporter approached a young girl who is "ust stood in the iddle of the town with dark droopy eyes. Rachel and her sister, # a !egins to get drawn into the report and the at osphere in the roo gets gradually tenser. $he reporter is then attacked and sta!!ed !y the young girl live on television. $he ca era en are heard screa ing in the !ackground, drop the ca era and run away. Rachel and # a watch it shock as the girl screa s into the ca era and runs away. Rachel asks # a %what the hell have I "ust watched&'. ( ontage se)uence of events is then shown including Rachel and # a hiding fro their parents who are acting strange. $hey then regain consciousness and wonder what they were doing and what was wrong with the . $hey want to find out what was causing the to act in such a strange way. It concludes with # a, her father and other cowering !ehind the sofa. $hey !elieve that Rachel has got the illness and is co ing down the stairs with a knife scraping the !anister. $hey turn to see if she*s there after it goes )uiet, she appears to have vanished. $he father turns !ack in relief to see Rachel crouching in front of hi . She puts her finger on her lips and sta!s hi in the neck. +hilst it happens # a and her other screa . Rachel looks up into the irror to see what she has !eco e with a dark ysterious figure lurking !ehind her. $he screen then goes !lack.
