Experience
When I traveled over the summer of 2013 to Jordan, I worked at a clothing store. What was amazing about that was I met many different people from: Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, and more. My mentor/boss would tell me how to approach many different people, how to talk to them, and how to keep them interested in the store. Many of them speak Arabic in different dialects, so getting used to them took time but I finally started to grasp each nationalitys ways. I also learned how to write a receipt in Arabic and type in Arabic using a computer. It was a fantastic experience that I wish to do again. I also handled the IT position and helped handle finances. Due to my outstanding performance in 8th grade the principal of the school invited me to participate in a journey to Universities in the West such as Stanford University, University of Nevada, Reno, and UC Berkeley. This trip was only for high-school students, however due to my performance in school, I was the only junior-high student invited. Teton Science School trip for 5 days. Observed wildlife and used science to explain many of natures magnificent behaviors. Took Arabic course at Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia. Took a Java course at ExitCertified in San Francisco, California. Im a really good java programmer and have developed many applications. Published applications such as BMI Calculator with voice recognition and heart rate monitor to the Android market. Currently in progress with aviation. 5th grade 9th grade Summer of 10th grade year Spring break of 8th grade year. June July 2013

I am a horse-rider and I am really proficient at it. I rode English and Western mostly English though. I was good to the extent that I participated in multiple horse competitions and won medals and ribbons. I love to interact with these animals and learn how to develop a bond with them. I have been riding for a long time. I have been a part of UNICEF by helping make fundraising ideas for the TAP Water project. I am a part of Interact, a community service extra-curricular at my school.

Publications/Presentations
I was invited to present my science fair project at Adobe in Utah because I won 1st place last year in the Salt Lake Valley Science & Engineering Fair in the Computer Science Category. Published multiple applications to the Android market for smartphone users to use. Presented my heart-rate monitor project to science fair judges and parents. This heart-rate monitor was an Android application that I developed for Android smartphone users. I got 1st place in the computer science senior division in the regional fair. I developed a project that will supplement SIS, my schools grading database, by giving teachers the opportunity to create charts and reports in order to graph the progression of each student based on the teachers grading standards. I am a part of the FIRST Robotics team at my school, and also the leader for the programming team. I handle many presentations that deal with our club and my programming team.

Research Experience
I have volunteered at Road Home, a homeless shelter, as the leader of the parenting group and the leader of the project services of the Brighter Future for Preschoolers program to improve the quality of life for homeless families and their preschoolers. Did research regarding my heart-rate monitor science fair project. This research took about 3 months in order for me to gather data and make sure that a smartphone can detect your heart rate. Many of the applications that I have published required a decent amount of research in order for me to know how to program and also

to know where to begin.

Teaching Experience
During 7th grade I taught a student with special-needs typing. My teacher asked me if I would do it and I agreed. I am the programming team leader for the FIRST Robotics club at my school. I teach my team members how to get started with Java and how implement Java code into an FRC robot. I have been, and still am, a math tutor at my school ever since the 10th grade.

Professional Development
I am the teacher assistant for the advanced programming class at my school (AMES). Aside from tutoring everybody at my school, I am also a private mathematics tutor for a student in my school. I have been nominated to represent my school as a Sterling Scholar in computer science in the state of Utah. I am the programming team leader for the FIRST Robotics club at my school. I teach my team members how to get started with Java and how implement Java code into an FRC robot.

I am very interested in programming and anything computer-related. I have developed this interest when I was just 8 years old and it still stays with me. Programming was what got me interested with technology. I am interested in artificial intelligence. I am interested in cryptography and cryptanalysis. I am interested in smartphone application development. I am interested in mathematical engineering and its variety of applications. I am interested in reading because of the adventure I can experience and the lessons that some provide. Reading is like diving into a whole new world for me. I am interested to learn more about the world. I devote some-time every day to learn and understand the world more. I am interested in swimming, tennis, and aviation.
