Except for the two dinners on Saturday (Hotel Marriott: Club de Industriales) and Sunday (Hotel Presidente Intercontinental, Restaurant Chimenea)

all events will be held on the 4th floor, Castillo Level, of the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental.

Dinner for all participants and their partners at 19:30 at the Club de Industriales The dinner will be hosted by Agustn Carstens, Governor of the Bank of Mexico. Participants are requested to assemble at 19:15 in the main lobby of the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental (ground floor) before walking over to the Club de Industriales (in the neighbouring Hotel Marriott).

Informal buffet breakfast for all participants from 07:15 in Room Castillo B Global Economy Meeting at 09:30 in Room Castillo A The agenda will include: Reports from the central bank committees: Jos Manuel Gonzalez-Pramo, former member of the ECB Executive Board, will present a CGFS report on operationalizing the selection and application of macroprudential instruments*. William C Dudley, CGFS Chairman, will present a CGFS report on enhancements to the BIS international banking statistics*. Anne Le Lorier, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of France, will report on a meeting of the Emerging Market Monitoring Group with private sector participants on current financial and economic developments in EMEs. William C Dudley, CGFS Chairman, will report on discussions at the CGFS on the current situation in financial markets.

Discussion of Recent developments in the global economy (an agenda and background note will be available in eBIS on 26 October 2012 by 12:00, Basel time).

Buffet luncheon as from 12:30 in Room Castillo B Meeting of Governors at 14:00 in Room Castillo A The subject of discussion will be How big and how global should the financial system be? (A background paper will be available in eBIS today by 18:00, Basel time.)

Informal dinner for bimonthly meeting participants and their partners at 20:00 in the Restaurant Chimenea on the 1st floor The dinner will be hosted by Herv Hannoun, Deputy General Manager.

* Both reports include Executive Summaries for Governors and (together with a transmittal letter from the CGFS
Chairman) will be available in eBIS today by 18:00, Basel time.
