Criterion A: Investigate
Achievement 34 Level descriptor The student describes the problem, mentioning its relevance. The student investigates the problem, selecting and analysing information from some acknowledged sources. The student describes a test to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.
Research 1. When was the first computer invented? The Early Computer was invented in 1622, but the first working freely programmable computer back in 1936. 2. Who invented it? The Early Computer was invented by William Oughtred , but the first working freely programmable computer was made by Konrad Zuse 3. What was these early computers used for? These computers were used as a sound effects generators for the 1940 movie Fantasia. 4. How have computers changed?
5. What does the future of computers look like? The future (that is today) look likes the computer that we have now, using advanced technologies and have software like intel core i8 and also expensive like Mac, Windows and more. 6. What is computer programming? 7. What is coding? 8. Are there many jobs in computer programming? 9. What are the main computer languages? 10. Are the old languages dying out and new languages rising up? 11. Which programming language is the best for you to learn? 12. Try this Blockly Puzzle Activity to get you thinking about the structure of coding and piecing strands together to reach a goal. Paste a screenshot of your final result. I didnt manage to get and play the Blockly Puzzle Activity yet, because i was concentrating on playing with the Blockly Maze Activity. But here is the screenshot at what does the Blockly Puzzle Activity looks like:
13. Now you are ready for a very exciting Blockly Maze Activity to truly wet your coding appetite. Paste a screenshot of the level you achieved, the blocks you used, and code. This game or activity was very fun, it was a frustrating, challenging and a very hard problem solving game, but also a very fun and interesting game to play. I didnt manage to take a screenshot of it but I was able to get to finish the game and pass the last level but i didnt take screenshot, so I tried again to finish the game with a friend but we didnt manage to finish it but here is the screenshot of how the game looks like;
14. Now do something original with the Blockly Turtle Activity and insert a screenshot, the blocks used, and the code. 15. Are there any other fun and quick activities for learning the thinking strategies for coding? Insert screenshots and urls here. There is this another activity that we can try, here are the activities that includes thinking strategies: -The Happy Fun Coding - Click here to go to site This Online software allows you to code and program games. - Code.org - Click Here to go to site This Online software allows you to learn the art of coding and programming. 16. Finally, what your project is going to be all about! Watch the following video and then go to the MIT site to begin seeing some examples. Give 3 examples of Starter Projects you watched, insert a screenshot and give a short description here. 17. Now, the question is what will you create with Scratch? Who will it be for? Will it be an animation, game, interactive art, dance, music, or a story? Answer these questions and begin to to develop your:
Design Brief In this project I was told to make and create something out of the online coding software called scratch or some other software that has coding, which you could create anything with coding and with this online software, Scratch like animations, drawing, games and even computer programs and many more. So I have decided to make a game and some animation that includes into the game. I will make the game simple and but also fun to play. The game will be like avoiding
traps and also taking certain amount of things to pass the challenge of the game. It will also include some animations like I could animate the Introduction where you have to click start and the animations start and also the game will start. Design Specs This is my design specs that I will talk about and also about the game and animation that I would like to make with coding with the online coding software, Scratch or other software. In the my design specs I will talk about the specific things and components that I would put in my game and also animations. I will also talk about the materials and software that I am going to use in order to make the game. Here are the design specs. The components of my game or the things that will be on the game and also how the game will look are these; - It will have 1 person player and only one character. - The setting will be on the mountains and plains. - The game will have and items to pick and also to find to change your appearance and also the ability of the character (e.g. become big, spits fire, also adding life to the character or becoming invincible) the game will some kind will be like mario. - It will be a one-player game. - The game can be played with all age group (everyone) - The Goal is of the game is to defeat the Boss to pass each level, and as the level got higher the harder it is. The materials that I am going to use in the game are these; - Computer (like a laptop or a PC) - A coding software like scratch or other coding softwares. - A Creative Idea Evaluation The challenge that I will find and discover is the coding skills and also IT skills and also a creative idea. The hard and challenging thing when doing the coding project, that is the game is the animation skills that you need to do in order to make the game and also the coding skills which will tell the game would should it do, like when we press a key or found an item the game will react or respond to the what we did and change to the thing that we have coded or have programmed. And also we have to learn how to use the online program or software.

Criterion B: Design
Maximum: 6 Students are expected to generate several feasible designs that meet the design specification and to evaluate these against the design specification. Students are then expected to select one design, justify their choice and evaluate this in detail against the design specification. Achievement 34 Level descriptor The student generates a few designs, justifying the choice of one design and fully evaluating this against the design specification.
This Design is the first design that I made for creating a game on scratch. In this design, this design may look like similar like a game that is created on a ipad or the computer that is called, Doodle Jump. This design is very simple because it is more easy to play if it is more simple.you In this game you just have to jump over into a platform and get a highscore into reaching the highest height, but there is many obstacle to pass for example broken and fragile platform, if you jump and land in the platform, you will jump once and the platform will break apart, there is also more like moving platforms, and also monsters to avoid or kill, if you kill the monster you get an extra point. There is also items in the game like rockets for boost of speed and trampoline to jump higher and many more. If you fall down the game will end. This is the second design that I made it is also similar but not really similar and have some difference to the original game, and it is similar to the game Mario bros. This game will be not simple and not complicated, it will be medium. In this game you will have to jump to another land and avoid obstacle and monster creatures. If you fall down into one of the gaps and fail to jump over it you will die. The setting will be on the mountains and plains. There is also items to get for evolving and upgrading and changing features like speeding up, become bigger, spit fire and many more. It will have Bosses in the end of each level and you have to defeat it in order to get into next level. The objective of this game is to get into the highest level. This is the Third design that I made it is a simple game. It will be simple but also may be hard to play. I this design for the game you will have to get out of the maze before a monster eat you in the maze there will be some obstacle to pass . There will be levels also and the objective is to get to highest level and get out of the maze. It will take place in a maze and plains and jungle.

Criterion C: Plan
Maximum: 6 Students are expected to construct a plan to create their chosen product/solution that has a series of logical steps, and that makes effective use of resources and time. Students are expected to evaluate the plan and justify any modifications to the design. Achievement 0 Level descriptor The student does not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below. The student produces a plan that contains some details of the steps and/or the resources required. The student produces a plan that contains a number of logical steps that include resources and time. The student makes some attempt to evaluate the plan. The student produces a plan that contains a number of detailed, logical steps that describe the use of resources and time. The student critically evaluates the plan and justifies any modifications to the design.

What are the expectations of the plans that students develop? Students are expected to produce a working plan with clear and detailed steps that would allow any other person who follows it to potentially create the product/solution. The plan should include an indication of the amount of time and resources needed for completing each stage of the creation (Criteria D). In computer technology, resources can include text, graphics, codes,
media files, and so on, with appropriate citations if they are not the original work of the student. It is important that the plan is evaluated to ensure that it can be followed and that any foreseeable changes to the plan or the design are justified based on this evaluation. However, at this stage of the design cycle the evaluation of the plan is of a speculative nature; the plan is not evaluated as a result of being used to create the product/solution.
(Spreadsheet/Gantt Chart/Steps)/Evaluate
Criterion D: Create
Maximum: 6 Students are expected to document, with a series of photographs or a video and a dated record, the process of making their product/solution, including when and how they use tools, materials and techniques. Students are expected to follow their plan, to evaluate the plan and to justify any changes they make to the plan while they are creating the product/solution. Students will sometimes embark upon a very ambitious project, or they may encounter unforeseen circumstances. In some circumstances a product/solution that is incomplete or does not function fully can still achieve one of the levels awarded for this criterion. Achievement 0 Level descriptor The student does not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below. The student considers the plan and creates at least part of a product/solution. The student uses appropriate techniques and equipment. The student follows the plan and mentions any modifications made, resulting in a product/solution of good quality. The student competently uses appropriate techniques and equipment. The student follows the plan and justifies any modifications made, resulting in a product/solution of appropriate quality using the resources available.

Criterion E: Evaluate
Maximum: 6 Students are expected to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification in an objective manner based on testing, and to evaluate its impact on life, society and/or the environment. They are expected to explain how the product/solution could be improved as a result of these evaluations. Students are expected to evaluate their own performance at each stage of the design cycle and to suggest ways in which their performance could be improved. Achievement 0 Level descriptor The student does not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below. The student evaluates the product/solution or his or her own performance. The student makes some attempt to test the product/solution. The student evaluates the product/solution and his or her own performance and suggests ways in which these could be improved. The student tests the product/solution to evaluate it against the design specification. The student evaluates the success of the product/solution in an objective manner based on the results of testing, and the views of the intended users. The student provides an evaluation of his or her own performance at each stage of the design cycle and suggests improvements. The student provides an appropriate evaluation of the impact of the product/solution on life, society and/or the environment.

Product testing: A stage in the design process where versions of products (for example, prototypes) are tested against the need, applied to the context and presented to the end user or target audience.
Self reflection - What did I learn from the process? What did I do well on? What could I improve? What would I do differently next time? How did I perform in Criterion A, B, C, D, E, & F?
In this project I learned about many thing and especially i learned how to code like making games and also the commands on scratch. I thought this project was going to be easy but it is Actually very frustrating I struggle in some parts of making my game like not making each tank touch each other and also not passing through walls I also struggle on making the bullets stay on the tank like or spreading every where. The thing that I can improve on this project is the use of my time and also finding more examples of games and also trying as hard as I can on this project. I would do a different game next time. I think i could improve on doing all my criteria.
