Baker Middle School Technology Contract

As a Technology student, the following technology agreement must be signed by the student and parent to continue in the class: Agreements I will only enter a computer lab with a teacher present I will only login to a computer with teacher permission I will NOT bring in any food or drink in the computer lab. Water bottles may be left outside the door I will only go to teacher appro ed programs and websites I will NOT change any computer functions, mo e any icons, or delete items that don!t belong to me I will NOT play games on school computers I will NOT download files, songs, ideos, etc" without permission I will only print necessary #INA$ %&A#T documents with teacher permission and only print once, making sure all settings are correct I will NOT do assignments from other classes without teacher permission I will be e'tremely careful with all e(uipment, following all safety guidelines I will only lea e the lab with teacher permission and green hall pass or a )ideo Tech *ress *ass I will sign out all e(uipment and cross my name off when I return it I am responsible for all e(uipment that is signed out I will report any problems or damage of e(uipment to the teacher I will use my keyboard correctly, NOT touching keys unless I ha e permission to type, and place the keyboard in front of the computer before I am dismissed I will NOT spin or roll in my computer chair. I will stand to mo e it, holding the handle at the back. I will push it in at end of each class period I will store all books and personal items under my computer desk I will keep my computer area clean and recycle+throw away any paper+garbage I will NOT bring or open any inappropriate material ,music, pictures, etc.- on school computers If I lose or break e(uipment because of my own carelessness, I may be charged for these items I will logout at end of each class period or shut down at the end of each day ,.A, ./I will only enter+e'it at the designated entrance+e'it I will NOT line up at the doorway at the end of the period Consequences 1st time 0 warning+reminder 2nd time 0 beha ior check, logout or no use of e(uipment for class period, and parent contact 3rd time 0beha ior check, parent contact, referral to administration, and possible loss of computer or e(uipment pri ileges entirely
