This document provides a 9 step process for installing ANSOFT HFSS software: 1) Load the ISO file and install HFSS 13 without drivers, 2) Install update 13.0.2, 3) Copy license and patch files to the program files folder, 4) Run the patch and fix files, 5) Optionally install an antenna design kit, 6) Disable automatic updates, 7) Enjoy the software. 1) Load or extract the ISO file. 2) Install HFSS 13 (do not install de drivers). 3) Install Update 13.0.2.

4) Copy license file to Drive:\Program Files\Ansoft\admin 5) Copy Patch.exe and ANSOFTFIX.com to Drive:\Program Files\Ansoft\HFSS13.0 6) Run Patch.exe and ANSOFTFIX.com 7) Optional: Install hfss_adk_v2.1.exe (Antenna Design Kit). 8) Once installed, Tools->Options->General Options->WebUpdate Options (tab)->Nev er. 9) Enjoy the software!
