Class Syllabus

This Communications Technology course taught by Mr. Lindstrom aims to provide students with verbal, written, and electronic communication skills as well as skills using Word, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentations, and other technologies. Course: Communications Technology


Instructor: Mr. Lindstrom

Objective
Students will be provided with a variety of skills centered on effective communications
and technology skills to provide them a foundation to use throughout their education
process. Communications areas to be touched on include verbal, written, and electronic
communication. Collaboration and Presentation techniques will also be emphasized in
the class.

Technology areas that will be included are Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases,
Presentations, Desktop Publishing, Digital Picture, and Digital Videos. Students will learn how to use the
technology to better communicate critical ideas and information in a fast paced learning environment.

Materials
 Folder to keep assignments organized, (Keep in Classroom)
 Notebook
 Flash Drive, 64 MB – 2GB

A = 95% & Up 50% Homework, Writing, Participation
A- = 93% & Up 50% Tests, Projects
B+ = 91% & Up
B = 87% & Up
B- = 85% & Up
C+ = 83% & Up
C = 79% & Up
C- = 77% & Up
D+ = 75% & Up
D = 72% & Up
D- = 70% & Up
F = 69% & Below
