Course Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of the course, students should will have: 1. Ability to apply the knowledge of composite material science for the engineering problems. 2. Determine stresses and strains in composite materials in order to have the sustainability of the systems. 3. The knowledge to apply failure criteria and to critically evaluate the manufacturability of the components using composite materials. 4. The knowledge advantages of using composites in aerospace structures to meet the desired needs within the realistic constraints. 5. The ability to identify current and emerging applications of composites in the aerospace industry and other engineering industries. 6. The ability to understand the contemporary issues in calculating the elastic and strength properties of unidirectional laminates using micromechanics theory. 7. The knowledge to use the most appropriate techniques and modern engineering techniques for fabricating composite components. 8. The ability to communicate effectively with various research scholars across the globe to know about recent trends of composite materials in different fields.
