Guest Speaker: Henry Bedford (Southwestern’s CEO)


 Henry started his career selling books for the home learning division of the
Southwestern Company after his junior and senior years at the University of the
South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He came to work at Southwestern’s corporate
office in the accounting department in June of 1976 as a budget manager.
 Henry was promoted to Treasurer in 1986 and began his work in the Great
American Opportunities division as chief financial officer.
 In January 2006, Henry became Chairman and CEO of Southwestern/Great
American, Inc.
 His hobbies include hot air ballooning, scuba diving, sky diving, and
motorcycling.

• Turn Left on Lincoln Rd (4.8 mi)
Lincoln Rd. turns into Semiahmoo Parkway which ends at
the Semiahmoo Resort parking lot.

• Exit 276 (Blaine – first exit after border)
• Turn Right on Peace Portal Drive (3.4 km through
downtown Blaine)

• Turn Right on Drayton Harbor Rd. (1.4 km.)
• Bear Left on Harbor View Rd. (1.1 km.)
• Turn Right on Lincoln Rd. (7.7 km.)
Lincoln Rd. turns into Semiahmoo Parkway which ends at
