Single-family detached homes have generally increased in size over time, going from 891 square feet for those built from 1950-1959 to 1,792 square feet for those built from 2000-2006. Condominiums have also increased in size albeit at a smaller scale, ranging from 420 to 1,300 square feet depending on the year built.
