Evernote is just the container; your notes are what make it work. Let me show you a few of the myriad ways you can load your thoughts into Evernote and how Evernote makes it really easy to retrieve them. There are a few different ways to add notes from your computer, the first is to open the Evernote application that were in now and at the top, go to New Note. f you press the arrow, you see you can add several different types of notes, including a !e"cam Note, an #udio Note, an nk Note, and a plain old Note. # plain old Note lets you type something in. $ou can format it just like you would in a !ord processing program. %nce you&re done, create a Title, if you dont want'want one to "e created for you, and automatically its saved and if you press the Sync "utton, it&ll sync up to the !e" server. $ou can see this represented here. $ou also have the option to add a nk Note. This might "e difficult, if you dont have a pen thats also a mouse "ut'the point is you&re not limited to just typing. f you dont want to add a note "y typing it in perhaps you are "rowsing on the nternet for instance, and you want to add something that youve found, you can do this as well. Lets say want to save this paragraph from (killsofts we"site into my notes. can right)click on the te*t and go to Add to Evernote. can then apply any tags, choose what Note"ook want it to go into, and click Add Note just like that, its "een added directly into Evernote. #lternatively, you can right)click the Evernote "utton at the "ottom right and go to Clip Screenshot this lets you choose a section of the screen to port directly into Evernote, which can "e a little +uicker in certain instances and if you&re dealing with say te*t and images can "e a lot more helpful.
