Our team has been considering a strong case of research on the undercover politics behind re-criminalisation of gays in India. It so happens that after re-criminalisation of sec 377, a huge wave is being shown on International media on this taboo. However, the moment we jump downwards, opinion is actually split. LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, and Transsexual) is not under the same rainbow. Hijras had been aloof most of the while. The other Trans-Sexual group, namely the Kothis, who maily live off Kajra (sex-work) are split. Many who dont take part in Rainbow, the pride walks complain bitterly of their grave situation. They also expose the names and the basis of trafficking: Discrimination of Kothis and red Light areas, in a host of public places, conspiracies and attacks by members of Rainbow, as well, as local kothis if they visit a foreign area. As an insider, an hour interview, typically reveals shocking facts, like a promiscuity, unsafe sex culture in the Gay world, vast number of men pretending to be Gays, who are actually Bi-Sexuals, an unsafe sex trade and trafficking racket flourishing under the LGBT banner and so on. While you could be just be aware of all this, but this research, would be a more refined take, which could fit in a documentary of your channel. First wed have metrics of cheating, questionares that identify the type and degree of cheating, then we go into the gay world, undercover to reveal truths in both the gay world and the sex industry.| Third we look at critiques of the Gay world within the gay world.
