solving process P110: Accept new and changing responsibilities

Accepting new and changing responsibilities is an important skill to have in all aspects of life. It helps to display flexibility and dedication, which are highly valued and important in our world today. Similarly, documenting steps taken and analyzing their effectiveness is quite important as it shows that you are willing to keep organized and study the effectiveness of your actions and policies. I have displayed these skills in many ways, specifically through my GSA leadership role. I have demonstrated both of these skills in varying ways over the course of my life, but especially so as the leader of the HHHS GSA. As the president of our GSA, I have consistently been open to assuming new and increased responsibilities in order to ensure for the groups success, and I have been sure to record the effectiveness of what I have done as leader. For example, I took initiative in organizing the GSA cupcake fundraiser, contributing cupcakes to it, working the fundraiser itself, and recording and reporting financial gains accrued from that fundraiser. This action shows that I am willing to do what must be done to help the group, and I am also mindful of the success of my actions. Another example that displays my flexibility as a leader is my role during the meetings themselves. I do not confine myself to one role or position; rather I am willing to do whatever possible to help the group and its discussions. These skills will be very crucial to my future career and personal life, and are crucial to my life at the present time. This skill is important today for many reasons, including and especially with respect to my role as the leader of the GSA, which demands flexibility in accepting new responsibilities and documentation of actions. It will be crucial in the future as I must be able to do these things in order to be a successful and good elected official, and also because this flexibility in responsibility is crucial in everyday life. For example, in order to be a good elected official, you must be flexible with your constituents and be willing to listen to them at all times.
