Horsepower VS Cubic Inch Displacement

You cannot directly convert cubic inches to horsepower. While more cubic inches typically means more horsepower potential, horsepower is determined by additional factors beyond just engine displacement, such as turbochargers and internal engine components. Horsepower can be calculated by dividing it by cubic inches to find horsepower per cubic inch, but cubic inches alone does not provide enough information to determine horsepower.

How_do_you_convert_cubic_inches_to_horsepower You can't convert cubic inches to horsepower.

. more cubic inches usually mean more horsepower but it horsepower is determined by more than displacement (i.e turbo chargers and engine internals). You can find horsepower per cubic inch by dividing horsepower by cubic inch, but there is no way to use just cubic inches to determine horsepower. Horsepower is a measure of power. ypically it is used to rate motors and engine power capability. !ubic inches is a measure of volume. "rom the conte#t, this most li$ely refers to engine displacement (sum of all cylinder displacements). here are other factors than just displacement that determine a particular engine's horsepower capability, however. You can't. !ubic inches are a measure of volume, %nches are a measure of length.
