(Helicopter)

1. An ambulance is a special vehicle for taking sick or injured people to and from the hospital, especially in emergencies. 2. It contains a stretcher, linens, first aid kits, oxygen equipment and lifesaving equipment and a staff.

3. The word ambulance comes from the Latin word ambulare.

4. Ambulare means to walk or move.

5. Ambulances can be based on many types of vehicle such as Van, Car, Truck and Helicopter.

6. Helicopters and Airplane are used as an air ambulance.

7. "Air ambulance services" means ambulance services provided by aircraft.

8. Airplane air ambulance service is called fixed wing service.

9. Helicopter air ambulance service is called rotary wing service.
