Shortest Path Detection: Existing System

The existing system for routing packets in multi-hop wireless networks uses straight line routing, which can overload routers and make packet transfer slow. The proposed system checks the load of each node and routes packets through alternate equidistant nodes if a node is overloaded, in order to estimate and balance the load across nodes. It focuses on straight line routing but selects the path based on nodal loads and Voronoi cell analysis to save time compared to existing systems.

Shortest Path Detection

EXISTING SYSTEM
In multi-hop wireless networks, packets are transferred through routes that could be composed of multiple relay nodes between sources and destinations. In many multi-hop wireless Networks, shortest path routing is often used for its simplicity and scalability, and this is closely approximated by straight line routing for large multi-hop wireless networks. In the existing system, a straight line routing is used, which makes the packet transfer very slow the routers in the path will have more overloads.

2.2PROPOSED SYSTEM
In this, each node in network is checked for its load, if the node is overload, then another node which is equidistance from that node is chosen and this process continues till destination. Here we estimate the nodal load, which is defined as the number of packets served at a node, induced by straight line routing. For a given total offered load on the network, our analysis shows that the nodal load at each node is a function of the nodes Voronoi cell, the nodes location in the network, and the traffic pattern specified by the source and destination randomness and straight line routing. Thus, in this paper, we will focus on straight line routing for delivering packets from sources to destinations.Straight line routingis defined as a sequence of nodes whose Voronoi cell is cut by a straight line segment between a source and destination. Timecan be saved.
