Lesson 494
Lesson 494
I am a reporter who plays on a popular badminton team called The Racketeers. I am a permanent member of the team, and it is simply paradise for me. I love to cause disorder on the other team. And my serve is nothing short of majestic. I am able to intercept shots from the other team that no one else can. Some of my critics howl at me like hyenas, and they are very impolite. But criticisms only serve to magnetize me more in my efforts to dominate my opponents. Now my editor who is also my publisher thinks I spend too much time marketing for my team. I want to emphasize that nothing could be further from the truth. I think my boss is just an eccentric and a hypocrite. Why he thinks nothing of his flamboyant playboy manner at the embassys ball last year. And he spends way too much time at the brewery if you ask me. And lets just say that he might want to consider a diet plan, but then no one ever accused him of being an intellect. Just because he is an officer on the board doesnt mean he is Mr. Very Important! I am able to demonstrate my prowess when I play my sport, and I think he wants to aim a howitzer at me when I succeed. He is in denial. I am not giving up the sport I love. He will have to become more pliable and then I will respond by becoming more reliable. But for now, I must go organize another game. Cheerio.
