How To Setup Email Receipts

To set up email receipts in Dynamics Retail AX, edit the customer record to select email as the receipt option and enter their email address. Run the customer scheduler jobs to send receipts to customers after transactions are uploaded and posted from POS to HQ, with the ability to override the default email address for individual transactions at the POS.

Tutorial
Dynamics Retail AX allows to send sales receipt to the customer via email. Step 1: Edit the customer that wants receive receipts vai Email. Select Receipt option as E-mail (Default is POS) and enter valid Receipt email address as show below:

Step 2: Run the Customer specific scheduler jobs (N-1010).

The defult address provided in HQ can be overrriden for a spcefic transaction when transaction is completed. (Refer following dialog shown at the time of completion of transaction at POS)

Email is sent to the customers when transaction are uploaded and posted in HQ.
