As you know computer science is the big issue in the market. Developing any system is the part of computer science. It gives me a great pleasure to work on this project. I have tried to give my best. I am thankful to Irfana mam to give this opportunity and best level of support. It would not be possible to complete the project without the support and motivation of my dad (fauzias dad . !"auzia.#.#ayyed.

Its a dummy company@ which maintains all its day!to!day business activities in different registers. As the business volume grows day by day it becomes Auite difficult to maintain each bit of activities manually. "ew employees are there who handle these activities.
3etroleum supply system is planned on a fleBible platform to be implemented in a customized manner and is user friend. 1eeting the reAuired of the user has been given priority while developing a computerized system. 'omputerizing the manual work and showing billing of each customer. *his can produce fleBibility and easy access to Auick information. #howing the indent that are available and which is reAuired to be purchase. #howing the billing
of each customer. 3roviding Auick@ access to the information about the indent available@ so that the concern employee can respond to it very effectively.
*here are 5 methods of fact finding techniAues a.:uestionaries It allows analyst to collect information from group of individual who may or may not use this
system resulting some invariant data and redundancy and nobody has a time to complete Auestionaries so we decided to go for an petroleum supply system.
:;(#*I.& Is the system reliableC + Is your system time consumingC 2 Is system feasible to load in company or organizationC 5 /hat is the reAuirement of retailerC 8 /hat is budget of retailerC
PETROLEUM DEPARTMENT It is used to collect information from user who is considering being source@ which are current user of eBisting system.
*he system analyst has face!to!face conversation with the user of the system and fiBed set of Auestion are prepared. RECORD REVIEW 1any kind of records can provide analyst with valuable@ information about operations@ it include analyzing of previous operation in company and forecasting the further schemes. OBSERVATION It allows gaining information they cant get from any other fact finding tech. It includes visiting spots or websites. It was observed that without database it is very difficult to handle this huge management. Its very difficult to maintain huge records of the petroleum company without the database as the paper work increases with lots of mistakes in it@ it is time consuming@ and searching a particular file is very difficult.
"easibility study is the model of a full development project. "easibility study is conducted to select the best system that meets reAuired performance. *his entitles the identification of the proposed system and the selection of the best system for the job. *he key elements involved in the feasibility study areD &.*echnical "easibility. +.(conomical feasibility. 2.#ocial feasibility. 5..perational feasibility. *echnical feasibility evaluates the hardware and software reAuirements of the system. (conomic analysis analysis determines whether adoption of the system can be cost beneficial. .perational feasibility determines how much effort will be reAuired in educating and training the users of the system. 4efore the actual development of
the system@ the feasibility study was done for the system. *echnical "easibilityD *he system needs a 3entium machine and a printer at the minimum. 4oth of which are available in the company. *he system is developed in 1# A''(##. 6ence the system is technically feasible.
(conomical "easibilityD *he cost 4enefit Analysis was done@ which estimates the hardware and development costs. *he development cost was distributed over a period of time@ so it proved to be beneficial. Indirect benefits such as saving time@ goodwill and increased efficiency were obtained. As the eBisting hardware and software will be used for the proposed system@ additional eBpenditure for the hardware and software will not incurred. *he fully computerized system will reduce the man!hours and overheads by simplifying the day!to!day activities and reducing the money spent over the man power.
.perational feasibilityD ;tilization of the software with different forms makes the system more users friendly. *he easy way of operation and generation of documents with interactive screens is an added advantage to the users. *he system is going to be installed on a standalone 3' which has the ideal configuration for running such software. 6ence the system is operationally feasible. #ocial "easibilityD *he introduction of the system in no way disturbs the working style of the company. :uick and more@ which help the management in decision! making. *o conclude@ As the management will be well informed with timely and proper information@ the system will help the management the proper decisions at the right time.
