HOLLYWOOD CAMERA WORK BLOCKING TEMPLATE.

BEFORE USE: The objects below are arranged in layers, so that some types of objects always go on top of other types, which creates a clearer diagram. To keep this functionality, select in the Layers Palette, and make sure Paste Remembers Layers is enabled. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: 1.) Using the tool, select from the objects below, then Copy/Paste into diagram. 2.) To rotate objects, make sure they are selected, then select the tool, click on the place you want to rotate around, then click again away from the object and drag to rotate. 3.) To rotate numerically (e.g. 90 or 180), select the object, then double-click to enter value. 4.) Objects can also be rotated by selecting them, moving the mouse slightly outside the surrounding box until the cursor turns into curved arrows, and then dragging.

Track: ( Select line above to load settings, then use the tool to draw track. To edit track, use the tool to select and move end-points. To draw SteadiCam or handheld, use the tool instead of .) Curved Track:

To draw long or irregular movement: 1.) Select a line above to load settings. 2.) Use the Line tool or the Pen tool to draw the line. 3.) Select the menu Effect -> Stylize -> Add Arrowheads. Add type #1 arrow to start or end (or both) with a size of 40%. 4.) To edit the line, use the tool to select and move individual points on the line. Cameras / Stops: Pans: Tilts:
