    For beginners, you typically are not able to get it wrong with televising a post-apocalyptic and cannibalistic scenario, specially in a time where we are going through an economic downturn, and a lot of uncertainty and fear about the future both domestically and internationally !o, the morbid backdrop of The Walking Dead naturally possesses a gruesomely familiar appeal The ma"or figure of the show, #ick $rimes, is played by the relatively unknown %ndrew &incoln $rimes is a sheriff in %tlanta who ended up in a coma after a failed shoot-out with a criminal 'pon awakening from his coma, he finds out himself stranded in a clinic room When he left his confinement, he sees the medical center is in shambles (e fast e)its that place and comes across endless rows of corpses arranged *very thing become different for #ick $rimes *verything he had known before his coma had gotten victim to the scourge of the undead, and now his ob"ective is to find his wife and son in a hope to revive any memories of a world once peaceful and normal The program is e)tremely different from any a-typical surviving terror flick that has been churned out over the past +, years There are lots of ranges of character development, and the zombies work as the backdrop to remind us-the viewers-about what-s at stake for each of the characters % cast of unknowns for a huge budget show might attract a skeptic eye from more than a few, but in my personal, a great solution to keep your attention focused on the tale and not distract from it through an %-list presence on screen !o what are you waiting for.
