Electronic Switch ON-OFF Touch or With Push Button Schematic

Three ways to create electronic switches using touch or push buttons are described. The first uses two CMOS gates connected as an SR flip-flop, where pressing one button turns one output high and the other low, maintaining the state until the other button is pressed. The second uses a single inverter gate, where touching the switch applies either ground or power to the input, toggling the output. To maintain the state, a flip-flop can be added after. Finally, touch contacts can replace buttons if resistors are used to prevent noise, and a capacitor added in parallel to discharge the contacts.

Electronic Switch ON-OFF Touch or with Push Button

Here we have three choices, with which we can make electronic switches that use our touch or pressing (push button). We thus exploit the very big resistance of entry, that present the gates CM !. "n the fig.# we have two gates $%$& or $ ' ("C#), connecte( as ')! flip)flop. *ust as we press the switch !#, the exit + it becomes ,H-, even it is maintaine( in this situation. .o change the situation, it shoul( we press switch !/. $ow exit +, takes price (0), reversely exit 1 becomes (H). "n or(er to we maintain the situation that we want, we can connect at parallel with the correspon(ing switch, a capacitor C2#33n4. .his entry will always (rive the correspon(ing exit to logic (0), imme(iately afterwar(s the benefit of supply to the circuit.

In the fig. 2, we have a circuit of inverter CMOS, in the entry of which is applied logic situation (H), fro the resistance !, which the other end of, is in the supply. "#it 2 has situation ($). %hen we press switch S2, in the entry of & IC2, we have situation ($), this it goes to the ground, the e#it now 'eco es (H). (his situations are aintained as long as we )eep pressed switch S2 and they change i ediately hardly the touch. If we want opposite logic operation then it will 'e supposed we connect the resistance !, in the ground and switch S2, in the supply. (he sa e logic we will have if we replace gate IC2, with a gate *+*, or *O!, as it appears in the fig. &, the result is the hi self. -ecause the situation in the case of fig.. and &, does not re ain constant and change when we pull our finger , in order to hi we retain, it should we connect a /01 or , flip0flop as (, after the IC2 and IC&. (hus the flip0flop, will change situation, each ti e where we will touch the switch or will touch the contacts and hi it will retain. +ll the switches can 'e replaced with contacts, it is enough we replace also resistances ! with the price of .2M3. (he !esistances ! when we use pressing switches can are, fro .2213 until .M3.

-ecause when we use contacts instead of switches, the noise can turn on the gates of fig. 2 and &, then can place a capacitor .22n4, parallel with the contacts.
