Task Your task is to report on an animal of your teams choice. You will work together to do an oral report for your class and a poster that parents can see at Parents Night. Process You will work in groups of three on this WebQuest to find out information about your animal. Step 1: Decide which animal you want to report on with your team. Check out some of the websites under Facts to pick your animal. Step 2: Assign members of your team to cover: A. General facts about the animal (Animal Facts and General Information). B. You may use a laptop or tablet in your presentation. Step 4: Your total presentation should be about five to eight minutes long. A. Make a list of what you will include. Habitats for your animal, interesting facts, foods for your animal, social habits for the animal, how they have their babies, and other facts that you think are interesting or important. B. Decide which team member will cover each part of the presentation. Assemble the information you are going to include in your presentation. Extra Credit can be earned for using pictures, sounds, or videos of your animal in your report (Sounds and Videos). Step 5: Assemble your poster using the facts that you gathered on your animal. You must include pictures and words on your poster and it should be well organized. Step 6: The last step is the presentation to the class.
