Algorithm of Breast Cancer: Assessment Clinic

The document outlines the algorithm for diagnosing and treating breast cancer. It begins with a patient identifying symptoms and being referred for breast screening. If abnormalities are found, the patient undergoes further clinical examinations, imaging tests, and potentially biopsies to determine if cancer is present. If cancer is diagnosed, the patient's treatment options are discussed which may include systemic therapy before surgery, surgery with possible reconstruction, adjuvant therapies, and long-term follow-up and monitoring.
