By Rahul Manoj Mahajan, John Deere India Introduction: Sometimes we get a requirement to release some Transport Requests (TR) to different landscape for further development or testing purpose. However, at times we may need to have those TR again in original system for making changes. In order to do this, SAP has provided a facility called Transport of Copies. We can create the transport of copies and add those released TR into it and then continue with our changes. This can also be use for other purpose such as when you want to test the software changes in one system without having them transported automatically to other systems in your transport track. Prerequisites: All tasks have been released in the original transport request. Details: Lets now look at the detailed step by step process on how to create it using actual example. 1) Open the transaction code SE09 and click on CREATE icon. There is one more way to do this and that is click on Request/Task and then click on CREATE.

2) A pop up will come up. Select the option Transport of copies and click on ok as shown below

3) After that one more pop up screen will come. Enter the short description and Select the Target and click on SAVE.

4) It will create the Transport of copies and you will be redirected to the next screen as shown below.

5) In order to lock the released TR we need to include the objects (TR), click on Request/Task -> Object List -> Include Objects.
