INT. CORRIDOR. DAY. CUT-IN: THE DOOR AND BLOOD

Francis is walking through a corridor. She walks past a door that is a jar. She steps in blood... MEDIUM CLOSE UP: LOW ANGLE Turns and looks down and then at the door. MEDIUM: SIDE She goes to her belt but finds that she doesnt have a gun. RICHARD (In Francis head) Until I can trust you not to damage the SCPs Im taking away your gun. FRANCIS (Under her breath) Damn it, why now. She looks left and right and gingerly opens the door. CLOSE UP: GUARDS BOOT THEN PAN TO THE OTHER GUARDS BODY. CAREFUL NOT TO SHOW THEIR FACES. Two guards are dead on the floor. MEDIUM: SIDE Francis enters the room and the door is shut behind her. She turns; we dont see what she sees. MEDIUM CLOSE UP: FRANCIS FACE What the...? An unseen fist knocks out Francis. MEDIUM: Francis is stood there grinning (It is the shape shifter SCP-056). CUT-IN: FAKE FRANCIS GRABBING THE RADIO. The fake Francis now grabs a radio from a dead guard. MEDIUM:

CONTINUED: SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) (Into the radio) I think we have a breach in corridor 4, two dead guards, I knocked out the thing but, well it looks like me. RICHARD (Over the radio) I read you Miss Hynel, stay put a team is on its way. SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) (Into the radio) Please hurry; it might come round at any moment. She puts the radio down. The real Francis can be heard groaning. MEDIUM: LOW ANGLE The fake Francis stomps her in the chest. SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) Im getting out of her and you little one are covering for me.

Footsteps can be heard running. Richard, number two and a doctor arrive. LOW ANGLE OF THE GROUP: NUMBER TWO Well take it from here Miss Hynel. RICHARD Do you have the comatose drug Doctor? DOCTOR Yes sir, Ill apply it now shall I? RICHARD Yes waste no time, that things more dangerous than area 5c let on. Francis smirks, no one notices. Richard turns. RICHARD Miss Hynel my office now. They leave. The doctor leans over the body. He seems to apply a drug. (CONTINUED)

DOCTOR Her powers never cease to amaze me. NUMBER TWO Well hopefully we wont have anymore problems from this one. DOCTOR Yes, one comatose SCP ready for transport, best guard the room just in case. NUMBER TWO I know, I am aware of the procedures. 2 INT. RICHARDS OFFICE. DAY. Richard is in his usual place. Number Two however, is absent. Francis sits facing him. MEDIUM: RICHARD Are you ok Miss Hynel? MEDIUM: SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) Ive been better, what was that thing? MEDIUM: RICHARD That thing, was SCP-056. MEDIUM: SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) The one with the blank file? MEDIUM: RICHARD Yes, we did censor some of the information. MEDIUM: 2

SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) How did it look like me? MEDIUM: RICHARD That is why it is here Miss Hynel. The scientists over in America couldnt answer that question even after 3 years of research. Thus I volunteered for a new set of eyes. Thats the main reason this base was opened. MEDIUM: SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) All for that thing? MEDIUM: RICHARD Yes. It appears to be a shape shifter that adapts to those around it. We never thought that it was dangerous though. The Americans classed it as Euclid. MEDIUM: SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) And yet it killed two guards. MEDIUM: RICHARD It has been incapacitated and I will be having a full investigation into this incident. MEDIUM CLOSE UP: Francis gives a brief smile, Richard does not notice. SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) Is that all sir? MEDIUM: RICHARD Almost, please do not mention this event; I will have some clean clothes delivered to your room. (CONTINUED)

MEDIUM: SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) Thank you sir. WIDE: She makes for the door the pauses. She doesnt turn to face him. MEDIUM CLOSE UP: Also when is my next leave? RICHARD Three months Miss Hynel. SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) Thank you Sir. She leaves. Richard looks after her and then shakes his head. RICHARD (to himself) Ill get the doctors to just check... That should put my mind at rest. 3 INT. CALVINS ROOM. DAY. MEDIUM: CAL CUT-IN: BOX Calvin is in his room, he opens an old shoe box, inside is his old army uniform and an a photograph. MEDIUM: He is about to pick up the photo when there is a knock on the door. CALVIN Yes? Steven enters. Calvin hurriedly closes the box. Im kinda busy Steven, what do you want? MEDIUM: 3

STEVEN Just to say, well thanks, for coming after me. MEDIUM: CALVIN Now were even. MEDIUM: STEVEN Even? MEDIUM: CALVIN You killed that zombie before it took a chunk out of me and now I saved you from Paul and the rest of Marshall, Carter and Dark. MEDIUM: STEVEN (Laughs) I guess youre right. Speaking of them. You seemed to know Paul. How? MEDIUM CLOSE UP: CALVIN Paul was in our squad out in Russia... One day some Russian soldiers turned up at our base camp, demanding we hand over some of the objects we had found on missions. We refused of course, but what happened next was just weird. Paul lowered his gun, walked over to them and then pointed his gun at us. We looked at him in complete shock. Hed sided with them. He was being payed to smuggle objects out of the camp and bring them to them. MEDIUM CLOSE UP: STEVEN The bastard. MEDIUM CLOSE UP:

CONTINUED: CALVIN I guess after we got back he found Marshall, Carter and Dark. Anyway Id rather not talk about Warbird. MEDIUM: STEVEN Fair enough. Oh, just to warn you Francis is throwing a welcome back thingy in an hour. MEDIUM: CALVIN Really? MEDIUM: STEVEN Yeah, it was as if I had been gone for ages. WIDE: CALVIN She really does over react doesnt she. STEVEN Yep, although the cake she had did look delicious. CALVIN MEDIUM CLOSE UP: Cake? I might just be around anyway. WIDE: Steven turns to leave, laughing. STEVEN See ya later non freak. CALVIN See ya later freak bag. Steven leaves. MEDIUM: Calvin opens his box takes out the photo;

CUT-IN: THE PHOTO it is of him with Paul stood next to him. Calvin seems to have a gauntlet on. He flips it over, on the back is written War-bird Stare into the abyss and the abyss stares back at you. CALVIN (Chuckling) Non freak huh. If only he knew. 4 INT. LOUNGE AREA. DAY. 4

CLOSE UP: ON THE CAKE THAT THEN ZOOMS OUT INTO THE USUAL GROUP SHOT SET UP. It is empty; a cake and some drinks are on the table. Steven walks in. STEVEN Guess Im early. Steven sits down. Jonathan hobbles in and sits. I thought your leg was broken? MEDIUM: JONATHON So did I but then one of the doctors gave me this red pill and it just sought of clicked back in. MEDIUM: STEVEN Sounds painful. MEDIUM: JONATHON Ive had worse. MEDIUM: STEVEN Everyone here seems to have some inner scars. MEDIUM:

JONATHON It builds character (he laughs) anyway are we starting yet? GROUP SHOT: STEVEN And risk getting punched by Francis, no way. They both laugh. Calvin storms in to the room and throws himself into a seat. CALVIN Am I late? JONATHON No you arent, were just waiting for Francis. MEDIUM: CALVIN Youd think she would get to her own party on time? MEDIUM: STEVEN Yeah I know. They all laugh. 5 INT. ROOM WITH A COMPUTER. DARK. OVER THE SHOULDER: Francis is in a dark room. She is sat in front of a computer looking at files. The teams records are visible. SHAPE SHIFTER (FRANCIS) One down, three to go. And then Im home free. She focuses in on Jonathans file. MEDIUM: Incapacitated with a broken leg. Sounds like an opportunity. OVER THE SHOULDER: 5

She looks at Stevens file, a picture with him and Gwen is visible. Now thats an opportunity. She brings up Iris file. MEDIUM: Set to have trip to America leaving tonight? Shame I cant impersonate 2 people at once. OVER THE SHOULDER: She looks at Calvins file. MEDIUM: How boring, nothing to exploit here. I guess hell just have to die. And it wont even be a challenge, hes just normal. MEDIUM: ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN. CALVINS FILE IS STILL ON IT.
