GAT-Graduate Admission Test

GAT is an aptitude test administered by NTS in Pakistan to select applicants for higher studies like MS, MPhil and PhD programs. It is recognized as the Pakistani equivalent to the GRE. GAT scores remain valid for 2 years and qualifying the GAT exam allows students to apply to universities in Pakistan for postgraduate programs. Both HEC scholarships for domestic or foreign studies and admissions to MS, MPhil and PhD programs in Pakistani universities require applicants to have qualified in the GAT exam.
